Everybody’s morning and night-time routine works different, according to what suits them the most and what contributes to their long-term success and goals. If you guys want a personalised routine especially for you, check out the services page where you can send me on your details and I will tailor a unique, specialised morning and night-time routine for you to follow through with. Otherwise, Have a look at these examples of a successful morning and night-time routine that can work for everyone.

Morning Routine Example…

7am - Wake up. Instead of instantly checking your phone, open your windows and look outside. Take a deep breath and stretch for 5-10 mins.

Grab a journal or notebook and write down 5 things you are grateful for that morning (e.g. I am grateful to be healthy enough to do everything I want, I am grateful that I have a comfortable bed to sleep and wake up in etc. ). Also write down 5 things that you are going to get out of that day (e.g. Being productive and disciplined, going for a 30 minute walk, doing a 10 min meditation etc. ). This sets intentions out for the day. Remember that whatever you write down, it is more likely to come true.

Walk over to a mirror and repeat self-affirming affirmations to start the day (I am gorgeous, I radiate with a magnetic confidence that draws people to me etc.). Say them with confidence and belief.

Put some upbeat or classical music on and start making a healthy, wholesome, filling breakfast. Take time to savour the food and appreciate that you are able to have breakfast in a safe space.

Do your skincare and put effort into your hair and if you wear makeup, put some effort into that also. Do not rush in getting ready, take your time and enjoy this time to feel confident about yourself.

Take enjoyment out of planning an outfit, if you haven’t already the day before. Also put effort into this, so you can feel like the best, most confident version of yourself.

Grab your bag and head out, feeling positive and ready to take on the day!

Night-time Routine Example…

You come home after a successful, fulfilling day.

Put on some more music or a podcast you enjoy whilst cooking a healthy, nourishing meal for dinner.

Instead of watching a movie or binge-watching a series which will get you hooked and leave you up for longer, (this is for weekdays, if you have to get up early in the morning. Of course it’s ok to watch these, if you are not sacrificing any of your priorities!), you can continue listening to music or a podcast or even watch something more productive. Personally, if I am trying to have a good night-time routine, but it isn’t working as it should, I will go onto YouTube and watch someone’s daily night rituals, which romanticises a night-time routine and inspires me to do the same. It’s also very relaxing to watch! (This can be applied to anything).

The minute you are finished eating your food, You can have a warm shower, do your skincare and get into your cosy clothes.

Make yourself a tea, and hop into bed with your journal and once again, write down 5 things you are grateful for from that day. Also, write 5 things you are proud of yourself for that you did during that day. This encourages you to be more productive throughout the day, as you will feel happy and good about yourself as you write down these things.

Read a book on self-improvement instead of scrolling on your phone. Where your attention goes, energy flows. If you fill your mind only on things regarding self-improvement, what do you think will happen? You will ultimately be more eager to self-improve.

Then, at 10 PM, put the book down and turn on some affirmations or a soothing meditation to help you drift off into sleep.

And there you go!

Two really good examples of how you can change your morning and night routines to overall better your day, and hence, better your year and overall better your life :))
